Transmitter Hunt: / Fox Hunt

Transmitter Hunt:

Date: Saturday October 25th (weather permitting)

Time: Start 9:00am – End 12:00pm

Frequency:

1 Watt 146.565 MHz.

Power: 1 watt

What the transmitter sounds like:

1 Watt – A series of musical sounding tones followed by my Callsign in CW (N0CFM)

Time of transmitters:

146.565 MHz. 1:30 minutes on repeating every 5:00 minutes

Boundaries: the transmitters will be within the boundaries within a publicly open space that last I checked had access to a restroom although restroom facilities cannot be guaranteed at time of the hunt.

Hunt area:

North Boundary: 104th Ave.

West Boundary: Federal Blvd.

South Boundary: Colfax Ave.

East Boundary: Peoria St.

Checkin:

Use IRG 145.280 with a minus offset and a 100 Hz tone for prehunt checkins, and during the hunt, or call me for any help during the hunt.

(Remember not to transmit through attenuation devices.)
