About us:
We are a local (Denver area) based group trying to help educate people in how to be prepared for Emergency / Disaster situation, including backwoods survival.
WE ARE NOT A MILITIA.
We have monthly In person meetings, where we cover a verity of topics from intro to prepping, get home bags, power grid vulnerability, ham radio education, emergency fire starting, etc..
Meetings are the 2nd Sunday of every month. See our Events page for more detail.
We also hold a weekly VHF simplex radio net every Thursday night at 7:30pm in the Denver, CO. Area, on 146.550.
Keep in mind that simplex is mostly line of sight communication, so this net is localized to the Denver Metro area.
